Resumen:
Nuestra época es la resultante de una potencia técnico-política que se desencadenó a mediados del siglo XX, con la emergencia del campo de las inteligencias artificiales y de la industria atómica y el proyecto y el diseño de una sociedad mediatizada. Por otra parte, en un ciclo histórico mucho más breve, puede que en algunos años recordemos este momento como un tiempo transcurrido “entre accidentes”: entre la pandemia provocada por el Covid-19 y las controversias sobre los desafíos que implican los nuevos tipos emergentes de inteligencia artificial —entre ellos, las llamadas “inteligencias artificiales generativas”—. A partir de este diagnóstico, en este artículo desarrollaremos una perspectiva teórico-analítica para analizar el ecosistema digital y de las inteligencias artificiales desde las ciencias sociales y las humanidades, nos preguntaremos por cómo lo social puede ser pensado y producido en las “sociedades artificiales” y, finalmente, presentaremos un conjunto de elementos teóricos y prácticos para conducir nuestro diálogo con estos agentes técnicos en las aulas universitarias al momento de desarrollar tareas de investigación.

Abstract:
Our era is the result of a techno-political power unleashed in the mid-20th century with the emergence of the field of artificial intelligence and the atomic industry, and the design and planning of a mediated society. On the other hand, in a much shorter historical cycle, in a few years we may look back on this moment as a time elapsed “between accidents”: between the pandemic caused by Covid-19 and the controversies over the challenges posed by the new emerging types of artificial intelligence—among them, the so-called “generative artificial intelligences”. Based on this diagnosis, in this article we will develop a theoretical-analytical perspective to analyze the digital ecosystem and artificial intelligence from the perspective of the social sciences and humanities. We will ask how the social can be conceived and produced in “artificial societies”. Finally, we will present a set of theoretical and practical elements to guide our dialogue with these technical agents in university classrooms when developing research tasks.
